This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the CulebraCab Driver application.
Island Connect LLC built the CulebraCab & CulebraCab Driver app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Island Connect LLC at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used to provide and improve the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to users' (Driver & riders) live location, email address, user picture and phone number. We request our user's to use their picture for their profile to make the app human-friendly.
Also, we collect the phone’s Contact list permission and information for the Trusted Contacts option in the CulebraCab app and the CulebraCab Driver app doesn’t have this feature. The CulebraCab app users can share their live location with their emergency contacts who are added by them in the app during the rides. The CulebraCab app will send an SMS to the emergency contact users with the user's live location, driver name, and vehicle information when the user triggers the "Trusted Contact" option from the app during the ride.
We do not use users' added contact information for any marketing or other purposes.
The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
This app collects location data to enable "live location tracking" and "receive ride requests" even when the app is closed (Android app) or not in use (Android app).
We collect your live location for better communication with the rider.
- We don't share your live location with any third-party services.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You can choose to accept or refuse these cookies. If you refuse, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
